Powder Coating
is an application of powder paint sprayed through a paint gun
onto a ferrous or non-ferrous component. An electrostatic charge
is applied to the paint particles as they exit the paint gun.
They are attracted to the grounded component part and create
a coat of powder on the component part (hence the term “powdercoat”).
The component is then run through a baking cycle at a specific
temperature in order to melt, fuse and cure the coating into
a high quality, uniform, protective finish that is aesthetically
pleasing and highly durable. The final application of the component
will determine the appropriate type of powder suitable. Powder
coating provides excellent protection for indoor and outdoor
applications.
Assortment of colors, glosses and textures available.
